EAPO Marks Filing of Application No. 68,000

At the New Year vacations the Eurasian Patent Office crossed the milestone on the number of patent applications valid on the territory of the eight states of the Eurasian region.

Application No. 68,000 was filed with the Office by Sberbank of the Russian Federation for an invention in the field of digital technologies – protection of confidentiality of data during financial operations.

Currently the Eurasian patent system is used by applicants from over 130 countries of the world. The most active applicants from the member states of the Eurasian Patent Organization are residents of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
