On April 26, 2023, Assembly of Eurasian Patent Attorneys (AEPA) was established at the EAPO headquarters in order to develop the institute of Eurasian patent attorneys. Eduard Shablin became the President of the AEPA, and Sergey Belyaev was appointed as the Chairman of the AEPA Council.

The AEPA currently consists of Eurasian patent attorneys from almost all EAPC Contracting States (Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Azerbaijan).

On April 9, 2024, the AEPA was entitled to set up an additional office in the Republic of Belarus. This will enable the Assembly to obtain the status of an international organization and reach a new level of integration.
