President of the Eurasian Patent Office Grigory Ivliev participated in the opening ceremony of the 27th Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies “Archimedes-2024”.

“It’s a pleasure to note that innovators from EAPO Member States as well as other Eurasian countries, including China, Iran, and Thailand, take part in this event. Inventors from Saudi Arabia and other countries are partners of “Archimedes”.

This fact indicates that inventors have already started to implement initiatives of the Greater Eurasian Partnership. Scientific and technological integration is an important element of development,” stated Grigory Ivliev.

The Salon includes a business program as well as an exhibition area where inventors present their innovations. “Archimedes” traditionally focuses on intellectual property. The Salon’s business program includes the most important topics related to rights management, namely technology transfer, development of the IP market, and licensing in universities.

Examiners from the Eurasian Patent Office answer inventors’ questions at the EAPO stand and participate in the business program, including the scientific and practical conference “IP Market as the Foundation of Innovative Development of the Russian Economy” organized by Rospatent.
