The Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO) informs that the Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) programme between the EAPO and the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) became permanent on 1 January, 2022.
The EAPO enables applicants to use the Digital Access Service for Priority Documents of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO DAS) in relation to industrial design applications from December 1, 2021.
EAPO and WIPO Signed Agreement in Relation to the EAPO Functioning as International Authority under the PCT
On November 22, 2021, the delegation of the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO) took part in the ceremony of signing the Agreement in relation to the functioning of the EAPO as the International Searching Authority (ISA) and the International Preliminary Examining Authority (IPEA) under the PCT which was held at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
On October 28, 2021, the delegation of the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO), headed by EAPO President Saule Tlevlessova visited the State Space Corporation Roscosmos (Russian Federation).
In view of the continued threat of the spread of COVID-19, the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO) informs that starting December 2, 2020, visitors will have no access to the EAPO premises (2, M. Cherkassky per., Moscow) for filing and receiving documents.
