Nikolay Ziatdinov, senior examiner in the Mechanics, Physics and Electrical Engineering Division of the EAPO Examination Department, made a presentation on the Eurasian system of patenting inventions in the oil and gas industry at the International Youth Scientific and Practical Conference within the 7th International Youth Scientific and Practical Forum “Oil Capital”, held in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russian Federation, on April 3, 2024.

Development projects and technical solutions already protected by patents were presented at the forum. They are aimed at increasing the efficiency of exploration of new oil fields as well as the processing of extracted raw materials, which demonstrates the successful development of the oil and gas industry and the interest of enterprises in the development of innovative activities.

The forum united representatives of oil companies and expert communities, young engineers and scientists, university students and postgraduates, specialists of scientific and educational centers in Russia and other countries of the Eurasian region.

Participants in the forum included the Eurasian Patent System users, namely representatives of the Institute of Petrochemical Processes named after Academician Yusif Mammadaliyev under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Institute of Geology and Geophysics under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
