When selecting the currency transaction type code, you should refer to Annex No. 1 to the Instruction of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation No. 181-I, dated August 16, 2017 “On the Procedure for Residents and Non-residents to Submit Documents and Information Confirming Foreign Exchange Transactions to Authorized Banks, on Single Accounting and Reporting Forms Related to Foreign Exchange Transactions, and the Procedure and Timeframes for Their Submission” (hereinafter Instruction) and clarifications of the Currency control department of the Payer’s Bank. Please note that when drafting a payment document, it is necessary to indicate the code of the currency transaction type in the “Purpose of payment” field in accordance with Annex No. 1 to the Instruction.
