Director of the National Center for Patents and Information (NPIC), Mirzo Ismoilzoda, held negotiations with colleagues from patent offices and signed a number of bilateral cooperation agreements in Geneva.

Mirzo Ismoilzoda met with the Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Daren Tang, and the heads of the patent offices of the Republic of Turkey, the Republic of Belarus, and the Republic of India. The discussions focused on strengthening and expanding cooperation in the fields of science and innovation, inventions, as well as other important issues in the field of intellectual property.

During the Assembly, the NPIC and WIPO signed an Agreement on services related to the establishment and development of technology and innovation support centers (TISCs) and a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of intellectual property.

The NPIC also signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the National Center for Intellectual Property of the Republic of Belarus, as well as with the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office.

The representatives of the NPIC and the Promotion Department of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of India held a bilateral meeting and discussed a cooperation plan.
