The Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO) received applications from the states of Europe and Southeast Asia.

In January 2023, the Eurasian patent system was joint by applicants from the Kingdom of Cambodia and the crown possession of Guernsey.

Thus, the applicants from 133 countries of the world are the users of the Eurasian patent system today.

Guernsey is a crown possession (bailiwick) of the British crown, which, however, is not a part of Great Britain. It includes an island of the same name in the English Channel (one of the Channel Islands), as well as a number of other small islands. The capital of Guernsey is St. Peter Port. The official languages of the state are English and French. The population is just over 60,000 people.

The Kingdom of Cambodia is a state in Southeast Asia in the south of the Indochina Peninsula. The capital is Phnom Penh. The population is about 17 million people. Cambodia borders Vietnam to the east, Laos to the north, and Thailand to the northwest. The official language is Khmer.
