The first Eurasian application for industrial design was filed with the Eurasian Patent Office in June 2021.

The statistics of Eurasian applications currently comprises about 900 applications, including more than 2,000 industrial designs.

The 2,000^th industrial design was filed as part of a Eurasian application received from Japan. It included more than 10 toys manufactured in Japan.

Every year, the International Classification for Industrial Designs (ICID) expands its list of classifications to which products included in the Eurasian applications belong. The number of industrial designs in the 21^st class of the ICID ‘Games and toys’ has tripled.

Applications for industrial designs falling under 09, 25, 12 classes of the ICID ‘Packages and containers’, ‘Building units and construction elements’, ‘Means of transport’.
