At the opening, Boehmert » Boehmert partner Heins Goddard (Germany) spoke out against political barriers in granting IP legal protection: “Everyone and everywhere needs patents, as patents mean the desire to share their knowledge and innovations. I urge politicians to take measures to ensure that no sanctions prevent patenting anywhere in the world.”

Grigory Ivliev took part in the opening ceremony and spoke at the panel session “Eurasian Patent System: History, Modern State and Further Development”. Attendees were introduced to the benefits of the Eurasian patent, the key figures of the Office’s activities, projects and initiatives that the EAPO is currently implementing and intends to develop.
