AWARDING THE WINNERS OF THE INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION “OPENING THE WORLD OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY. 2023”

On December 27, 2023, an award ceremony was held for the winners of the International Competition “Opening the World of Intellectual Property. 2023,” organized by the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, the National Centre of Intellectual Property and the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO).

The Counselor to the President of the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO), Armen Azizyan, delivered a welcoming speech, wished the participants success, and noted their high level of knowledge in the field of intellectual property.

“We are proud of you – a new generation of inventors and innovators, ready to open the next page in technological development… I am confident that your developments will help improve the living standards of many people in the Eurasian space.”

The competition was organized for students between 13 and 19 years old. In 2023, more than 1,300 students from schools and higher education institutions in the Republic of Belarus, the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Republic of Azerbaijan took part in the competition.
