GRIGORY IVLIEV: MODERN DEVELOPMENT OF BUSINESS AND TECHNOLOGY REQUIRES IMPROVEMENT OF THE EURASIAN PATENT SYSTEM

The President of the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO) made this statement at the plenary session of the XVII Scientific Readings in Memory of Professor S.N. Bratus “Ideas and Traditions of Russian Civil Law: Milestones of Centuries and New Horizons” at the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation.

PATENT ATTORNEYS DISCUSSED EURASIAN PATENTING

The plenary session of the Third Patent Congress, which was held on October 17 and was hosted by the Russian national group of AIPPI, the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property, focused on the Eurasian integration. Patent attorneys from Russia and Kazakhstan attended the session.

On October 5 and 6, 2023, Kyrgyzstan held a series of events to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the national intellectual property system with the assistance of the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO). The EAPO President took part in the opening ceremony of the International Forum “Transformation of intellectual property into an effective tool for the development of the innovation economy” and congratulated the colleagues from Kyrgyzpatent on the anniversary.
