On July 12, 2010 the Delegation of Mexico visited the Eurasian Patent Office.
The Delegation of Mexico was represented by Mr. Alfredo Carlos Rendon Algara – Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI); Mr. Francisco Javier Gonzalez Garcia, Mr. Francisco Javier Soltero Jimenez, Ms. Maria Judith Meza Nixon – representatives of the National Chamber of the Tequila Industry; Mr. Miguel Angel Dominguez Morales, Mr. Ramon Gonzalez Figueroa; Mr. Fernando Cano Trevino Mr.Luis Miguel Hernandez – representatives of the Tequila Regulatory Council.
From the EAPO side the delegation consisted of Dr. Khabibullo Fayazov, EAPO Vice-President; Mr. Dmitry Rogozhin, Deputy Director of Examination Division, Director of Formal Examination Department; Ms. Marina Kryukova, Director of the International Relations Department; Ms. Oksana Vlasova, Leading specialist of the International Relations Department.
The delegation of Mexico was informed of the EAPO activity, on the Eurasian patent system, EAPO information technologies and recourses. The Parties discussed future mutually beneficial projects under the framework of the Memorandum of understanding between the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property and the Eurasian Patent Organization.
