Vice Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan Visited EAPO

The Vice Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akerke Akhmetova visited the EAPO headquarters on February 20, 2020.

Negotiations on cooperation were held during the meeting with the EAPO President Saule Tlevlessova.

Saule Tlevlessova acquainted Akerke Akhmetova with the main indicators of the EAPO activity, including the interaction with the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Vice-Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in turn, described the main tasks in the field of intellectual property facing the Ministry in the near future.

The parties discussed various aspects of regional integration. In particular, the progress of ratification of the Protocol on the Protection of Industrial Designs to the Eurasian Patent Convention by the Republic of Kazakhstan was reviewed.
