The First Certificates of Registration of Eurasian Patent Attorneys Specializing in Industrial Designs were Granted

On June 2, 2021, the President of the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO) Saule Tlevlessova presented the first certificates of registration as Eurasian patent attorneys specializing in industrial designs.

Certificate number 1, registered on May 25, 2021, was presented to the managing partner of the Gorodissky & Partners Law Firm, the Eurasian patent attorney, patent attorney of the Russian Federation Valery Medvedev.

Certificate number 2, registered on May 25, 2021, was presented to the head of the patent practice of the Gorodissky & Partners Law Firm, the Eurasian patent attorney, patent attorney of the Russian Federation Yuri Kuznetsov.

In her congratulatory remarks the President of the EAPO noted the long-term and fruitful cooperation between the Eurasian Patent Organization and the Gorodissky & Partners Law Firm. Saule Tlevlessova welcomed its further development within the framework of the Eurasian system of legal protection of industrial designs.

As of June 2, 2021, based on the results of the qualification examinations conducted by the EAPO and on the basis of the decisions of the qualification commission of the office, 11 candidates were certified as Eurasian patent attorneys with the specialization “Industrial Designs”.
