Ratification of the Kyrgyz Republic Deposited with the Director General of WIPO

On October 15, 2020 the Permanent Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva, Daniiar Mukashev deposited the instrument of ratification of the Protocol on the Protection of Industrial Designs to the Eurasian Patent Convention with the Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization Daren Tang.

The Protocol on the Protection of Industrial Designs was adopted on September 9, 2019 at the diplomatic conference in Nur-Sultan, the Republic of Kazakhstan. Currently the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia ratified the Protocol.

The Protocol shall enter into force, in respect of the first three States to ratify it or accede to it, three months after the third instrument of ratification or accession has been deposited with the Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization.
