Press-release on visit of the delegation from the State Agency on Intellectual Property of the Republic of Moldova (AGEPI)

On March 19, 2013, a delegation from the State Agency on Intellectual Property of the Republic of Moldova (AGEPI) consisting of Dr. V. Rusanovscki – Director, Division of E- document Management Division, and Mr. V.Duka – Principal Specialist, E- document Management Division visited the Eurasian Patent Office.

The EAPO was represented by the Heads and specialists from the Patent Information and Automation Department, and Examination Department.

Current visit and the working discussions were carried out as part of the Working Program on Cooperation in the field of protection of Intellectual Property between AGEPI and EAPO.

During the meeting, the parties have discussed topics on electronic filing, electronic data exchange; storage, publication and dissemination of patent information. EAPO has made presentations on systems for electronic filing and electronic dossiers of the Eurasian applications, system for preparation of publications, system for creation of the electronic archive of the application files, and other systems and technologies which are being used at the EAPO. Particular attention was paid to practical aspects of use of the information systems and technologies at the workstations of the EAPO specialists.
