On July 7, 2013 European patent office (EPO) delegation consisting of Mr. Carlo Pandolfi, Director of International Co-operation and Ms. Nina Formby, Project Leader for CIS and Mongolia visited the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO).
The EAPO delegation was headed by Mr. KH.F. Fayazov, Vice-President (coordinator of bilateral cooperation between EPO and EAPO).
The purpose of the visit was to discuss the current state of affairs and the development of the cooperation between the EPO and the EAPO.
During the meeting the parties updated each other on the current status of the implemented activities and the general changes that have recently occurred at the EPO and EAPO, reviewed the draft Work Plan of Cooperation activities for 2014-2015 and discussed the organizational aspects of the cooperation.
The parties have confirmed their willingness to further develop the cooperation in the fields of information technology, exchange of patent data and the development of human resources.
