Dialogue on the Development of the Eurasian Patent System

The Assembly of Eurasian Patent Attorneys and the discussion with representatives of the professional community serve as a valuable working mechanism of the Eurasian Patent System, ensuring feedback and continuous fine‑tuning of procedures.

During the meeting on March 31, all factors affecting practice were discussed — from changes in examination and regulation to the training of future patent attorneys.

The key focus is placed on ensuring quality of services, which is shaped through direct dialogue with system users.

«We are pleased to note not only the strengthening of cooperation between the EAPO and Eurasian patent attorneys, as well as the elevation of this cooperation to a qualitatively new level, but also the integration of patent attorneys within their professional community», — noted Grigory Ivliev, President of the EAPO.

As the number of applications grows and the examination process becomes faster, the system continues its digital transformation, from the implementation of AI to the creation of a common examiner space.

During the discussion, the AI assistant «Gregorius» trained on the EAPO regulatory framework was presented.
