On the sidelines of the WIPO Assemblies, an exhibition dedicated to the historical and cultural heritage of Kazakhstan was organized with the support of the EAPO.
The exhibition featured historical artifacts, traditional jewelry, elements of national costume, and modern multimedia formats. This combination highlighted not only the richness of cultural traditions but also their continuity, as well as contemporary approaches to preserving and promoting this heritage.
The cultural program was complemented by a performance by the Joshy Qazaq National Group, an ethno-folklore ensemble that introduced attendees to the country’s musical traditions.
Guests had the opportunity to try national dishes, which provided yet another chance to experience the culture of Kazakhstan.
The preservation of cultural heritage and technological development are not opposing but complementary processes. Traditional patterns, forms, and designs often serve as a source of inspiration for contemporary design solutions, and new industrial property objects are created at the intersection of tradition and innovation.
