On November 5, 2019, the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO) launched the technology of ‘instant’ publication of the EAPO Gazette “Inventions (Eurasian Applications and Patents)”.
The information on the grant of the Eurasian patent and full description of the Eurasian patents, applications and patent search reports, as well as notifications of changes in the legal status of Eurasian applications and patents are published on the Eurasian Publication Server directly after the completion of their technical preparation for publication.
Monthly issue of the Gazette is formed online starting from the first calendar day of each month and will be closed on the last calendar day of the respective month.
All EAPO automation systems have been updated for the implementation of the technology. EAPO President Saule Tlevlessova gave start to the new publication technology.
The technology reduces the terms of publication and grant of Eurasian patents, as well as notifies the EAPO users about the changes in the legal status of Eurasian applications and patents.
