Industrial Designs Protocol Deposited with WIPO Director General

President of the Eurasian Patent Office Saule Tlevlessova and the Chairman of the Diplomatic Conference on the Adoption of the Protocol on the Protection of Industrial Designs to the Eurasian Patent Convention, the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Beketayev deposited the Industrial Designs Protocol with WIPO Director General on October 1, 2019, in Geneva.

WIPO Director General Francis Gurry welcomed the positive results of the event. Discussion on topical issues of cooperation took place during the meeting.

The Protocol on the Protection of Industrial Designs to the Eurasian Patent Convention of September 9, 1994, was adopted at the Diplomatic Conference on September 9, 2019 and signed by the authorized representatives of Republic of Azerbaijan, Kyrgyz Republic, Republic of Armenia, Republic of Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation and Republic of Tajikistan.
