Grigory Ivliev spoke at the 5th Patent Congress, organized by the Russian group of AIPPI

The event was attended by patent attorneys from professional associations (AIPPI, Assembly of Eurasian Patent Attorneys, Chamber of Patent Attorneys of the Russian Federation, LES).

The EAPO President highlighted the latest changes and trends in the development of the Eurasian patent system:

  • stable filing rates for Eurasian applications;
  • increasing demand for Eurasian patents among EAPO Member States (Azerbaijan +75%, Belarus +12%, Kazakhstan +34%, Russia +14%);
  • increased activity of applicants from China;
  • trends in challenging Eurasian patents;
  • main development trends of the Eurasian patent system.

Patent attorneys recognized Grigory Ivliev’s contribution to the development of IP system in the Eurasian region.
