On April 29-30, 2019 the EAPO headquarters hosted the fifth meeting of the working group on the creation of the Eurasian system of legal protection of industrial designs.
The session was attended by representatives of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as representatives of the Eurasian Patent Office.
Following the meeting, the working group agreed on the Draft Protocol to the Eurasian Patent Convention of September 9, 1994, on the Protection of Industrial Designs (hereinafter referred to as the Draft Protocol) with a view to sending it to the national IP offices of the EAPC Member States for conducting intra-State procedures necessary to prepare the Draft Protocol for signing.
