Eurasian Patent Office received more than 74000 patent applications

The Swiss company Syngenta filed the 74,000th application. It is one of the largest developers and producers of seeds and GMO plants. The company is an active user of the Eurasian Patent System. It received 15 patents in the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO).

The application was filed with the EAPO under the international patent system, which is governed by the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT). The information on the invention contained in the application is confidential until the date of its publication.
