EAPO strengthens cooperation with CNIPA

EAPO President Grigory Ivliev had a meeting with the Commissioner of the National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) Dr. Shen Changyu on the sidelines of the 14th China Intellectual Property Annual Conference (CIPAC 2025).

The parties agreed to:

  • continue working with CNIPA examiners and IT specialists online and offline,
  • start cooperation between the Assembly of Eurasian Patent Attorneys and China’s All-China Patent Attorneys Association,
  • hold events in China in 2026 to promote the Eurasian patent system,
  • provide mutual support in extending the powers as PCT International Authorities.
