EAPO Representatives Took Part in a Training Seminar on Search in the EPOQUE NET system

Representatives of the Eurasian Patent Office of the Eurasian Patent Organization (EAPO) took part in advanced training on search in the EPOQUE system organized by the European Patent Academy from September 17 to 21, 2018 in The Hague, the Netherlands.

Representatives of national patent offices of Austria, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Finland, Czech Republic, Norway, Serbia, Turkey, Morocco and other countries also attended the event.

Focused on the experienced users of the EPOQUE system, the training, along with the matters regarding patent search by patent documentation, had a reference to the search features of non-patent literature databases.

A significant part of the training was hands-on exercises. Examiners of the European Patent Office in the field of chemistry, biotechnology, mechanics, information and communication technologies and other areas, experts in the field of patent information demonstrated the specific features of the professional use of the search engine EPOQUE NET with numerous examples.

The final session of the seminar was devoted to the consideration of practical examples formulated by the participants, among them, the EAPO representatives.
