EAPO President Participated in the Celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Republic of Kazakhstan Patent System

September 13 – 14, 2017 marked the 25th anniversary of the foundation of the national IP office and the establishment of the intellectual property protection system of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The celebrations were held in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Seminars on protection of industrial property rights were organized jointly by the World Intellectual Property Organization, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan and RSE “National Institute of Intellectual Property” of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Representatives of national patent offices and international organizations, governmental bodies, business sector, representatives of IP of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the honorary title as well as patent attorneys took part in the gala evening.

The Eurasian Patent Office President Saule Tlevlessova delivered a felicitation and presented the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Beketayev with a congratulatory address and a memorable gift.
