EAPO Delegation Took Part in the Opening of the Exhibition of Folk Art of the Countries of the Eurasian Region

On September 25, 2018 the EAPO delegation took part in the inauguration of the exhibition “Cultural Conversion: Unity in Diversity”, organized during the meetings of the Assemblies of the Member States of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva.

EAPO President S. Tlevlessova, as part of the guests of honor, took part in the exposition of the exhibition. Folk art items of a number of countries participating in the Eurasian Patent Convention: the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan were presented at the exhibition.

The exhibition was organized by a regional group of countries of Central Asia, the Caucasus and Eastern Europe and WIPO to disseminate information on the unique traditions and distinctive crafts of the countries of the Eurasian region.
