The stage of receiving applications for the PharmBioTech competition, organized by the Skolkovo Foundation and Innovation Center, is finished. Representatives of the Office will take part in the jury of the competition, and one of the finalists will be awarded the EAPO medal “Advancing the Future”.
PharmBioTech competition is aimed at discovering innovative projects in the pharmaceutical industry and those areas of healthcare where the intellectual property protection has a significant potential.
Among the competition topics this year were: innovative drugs, biotechnology, gene and cell technologies, bioavailability technology, sustainable food technology.
Experts of the Eurasian Patent Office will take part in the evaluation of the finalists’ projects. One of the finalists will be awarded the EAPO medal “Advancing the Future”. This award is established to encourage talented young inventors, scientists and researchers who showed notable results in the creation of new technologies and in the field of intellectual property.
