On behalf of the National Center of Intellectual Property of the Republic of Belarus may I congratulate You and Your staff with 10-th anniversary of coming into force the Eurasian Patent Convention.

Today, turning back to early 90-s the consequence of the foundation of the Eurasian Patent Organization is vividly realized as one of the key institutions of forming common economic area of the Eurasian region countries.

For that historically short time our Eurasian Patent Organization has served a wide international recognition, the eurasian patent has acquired a worthy confidence in all world countries which has become proves for the highest estimation of the professional work of its leaders and all its staff.

Belarus, being one of .the Organization’s initiators was one of the first countries who has signed the Eurasian Patent Convention and received invaluable assistance during the first years of the national patent system operation from EAPO rendering assistance in as patent legacy development, personnel training and forming and forming and upgrading provisional hardware.

We express our confidence in extending our fruitful cooperation and further development of the Organization international image based on Your highly professional skill.
