EAPO President Grigory Ivliev took part in the opening ceremony of the forum “Women in Invention, Science, Creative Industry and Entrepreneurship” in Bishkek.
“In general, women use the IP system less often than men. Meanwhile, we all realize that practically any author’s team includes talented girls and women. It is hard to comprehend what creative, intellectual and commercial potential has not yet been fully unlocked. “The Forum should make clear to the participants what opportunities women’s IP protection brings for innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as how IP assets can be used for business development,” the EAPO President noted.Grigory Ivliev awarded Plenipotentiary Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic and Director of the State Agency of Intellectual Property and Innovation under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Rakhat Kerimbaeva with the V.I. Blinnikov Gold Medal “For Contribution to the Inventive and Patent Business”.
Osh lyceum-boarding school “Nookat bilimkanasy” received a robotic complex. The lyceum’s young innovators club received a specialized set for technical creativity,model-making and various mechanisms.
The program of the Women’s Forum includes:
– discussions,
– exhibition made by the Association of Women Artists and Masters of Decorative and Applied Arts of Kyrgyzstan “The World through Women’s Eyes,”
– display of Kyrgyz light industry companies’ collections.
