BC CJIOT SA (Switzerland) has been granted Eurasian Patent No. 051794: a device for the electrolytic production of hydrogen.
The patented solution is based on a closed system in which the energy required for electrolysis is generated. The key innovation lies in using the buoyant force of hydrogen and oxygen bubbles produced during water splitting. As the bubbles rise through water-filled chambers, they drive a cup-based mechanical system that rotates an electric generator. The generated electricity is used to power the electrolytic cell in a self-sustaining cycle with a high degree of energetic autonomy.
This invention has significant social relevance, as it addresses key challenges in the field of green energy development. It operates independently of weather conditions, time of day, and geographic location, has a compact design, and produces neither noise nor visual pollution. By enabling the production of environmentally friendly hydrogen with minimal external energy requirements, this technology represents an important step towards more sustainable and decentralized energy systems.
