The International Conference "Patents and the 21st Century" will be held on 1 September 2003.

The venue: Russian Federation, St. Petersburg, conference hall of Radisson SAS Royal Hotel.

The Conference is organized by the Eurasian Patent Office and European Patent Office.

The Conference will be dedicated to various issues of protection of inventions in the context of globalization of patent system.

Speeches at the Conference will be delivered by Dr. Victor I. Blinnikov - President of the Eurasian Patent Office, Dr. Ingo Kober - President of the European Patent Office, Dr. Alexander D. Korchagin - Director General of the Russian Agency for Patents and Trademarks, as well as by representatives of the World Intellectual Property Organization and business circles of Western Europe and Russia (see the Programme of the Conference).
